About

Work

I'm co-founder and CEO of UBIO. Day to day I work across commerical, tech and product — which is where I'm strongest, and where I spend most of my time. I've raised over £10m VC funding for the business, which is a growth stage AI startup with 30 employees.

Most of travel still lives behind websites with no API worth integrating. We build the automation that does what a person would do on those sites — search, book, pay — reliably and at scale. With our web automation platform, A3 a language model learns a site once and writes the stage code; then it steps aside, and the fleet runs that code millions of times a day for Google, Microsoft, Trivago, TravelPerk and TickX. Hotel Universe is the hotel product built on top.

Before UBIO I co-founded Webjam, a social-media SaaS platform. Before that I was a self-taught software developer. I've mentored at Techstars London since 2016.

Play

I live in Leigh-on-Sea with my wife and son, a short walk from the estuary and a long way from the office. Away from work I collect, build and paint model aeroplanes — kits on the bench, resin on the desk, reference photos of real machines that also feed the Aviation Gazetteer.

I like making computer games: a Spitfire arcade shooter, a torchlit Crypt of the Fallen, and whatever the next evening prototype turns into. I'm an expert vibe coder — agents as co-pilots, hardware as well as software. That habit spills into ESP32 gadgets: conference badges, a Hotel Universe promo tower you stack floor by floor, a Doom-playing desk pod, and an e-ink picture frame that wakes for a fresh iCloud photo then sleeps again.

Four pieces I wrote for A3 and the Aviation Gazetteer — history, engineering and one playable Normandy beach-head.
